How can we help? 👋

How to Sync Your Products into Shopify

Once your Corporate Merch account is connected, you can bring your customized products into the app and push them to your Shopify store.

Step 1: Sync your products into the app

  1. In your Shopify admin, open Corporate Merch under Apps, then go to Products.
  1. Click Sync Products in the top right.

The app starts importing the customized products from your Corporate Merch account in the background. Larger catalogs can take a few minutes, and you can leave the page while the sync runs.

Step 2: Review your products

When the sync finishes, your products appear in the list with their SKU, quantity, and status. Use the search bar to find products by title or SKU, or use the tabs to filter by All Products, Pushed to Shopify, or Not Pushed.

Click View details on any product to see its sizes and inventory before adding it to your store.

Step 3: Push products to Shopify

To push a single product, click Sync to Shopify on its row.

To push several at once, check the boxes next to the products you want (or the box in the header to select all), then click Sync to Shopify.

Pushed products are created in Shopify in Draft status, so they won’t be visible to customers yet. Their Push status changes to Pushed and their Shopify status shows Draft.

Step 4: Set up bulk pricing (optional)

Corporate Merch products get cheaper per unit as order quantity increases. Bulk pricing lets you pass those quantity discounts on to your customers and set your own price at each quantity level.

  1. Click Bulk Pricing on a product’s row.
  1. Check Enable bulk pricing for this product and confirm.
  1. For each quantity break, enter Your sell price. The Corporate cost next to it is what you pay Corporate Merch at that quantity.
  1. Click Save merchant prices.

A few things to know:

  • Set your sell prices above Corporate Merch cost to earn a margin on each sale.
  • Your first quantity break becomes the product’s regular price in Shopify. It must be greater than or equal to the sell price of every higher quantity break.
  • Customers see your prices in a pricing table on the product page, and the matching discount is applied automatically at checkout based on the quantity they buy.
  • Quantity breaks and Corporate cost are set by Corporate Merch and can’t be changed.

If bulk pricing is turned off for a product, its price table stays locked and checkout won’t apply volume discounts. Customers pay the regular price at any quantity.

Step 5: Edit and publish

You can edit any product details in Shopify, such as the title, description, images, and tags, except the Vendor and SKU fields. These link the product to Corporate Merch for fulfillment, so changing them may prevent orders from being produced and shipped. If bulk pricing is enabled, manage pricing from the Bulk Pricing window rather than in Shopify.

When a product is ready, click Set Active on its row in the app to publish it to your store. You can also set it to Active from the product page in Shopify.

Keeping products up to date

If a product changes in your Corporate Merch account, click Sync Product on its row. This pulls the latest data from Corporate Merch and updates the product in your Shopify store.

Fixing missing images

Occasionally Shopify doesn’t save a product’s image when the product is pushed. If a pushed product is missing its image in your store, click Update images on its row and the app will resend the images to Shopify.

Deleting products

Click Delete on a product’s row to remove it from the app. If the product has been pushed, it is also deleted from your Shopify store. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted. To hide a product from customers without deleting it, set it to Draft in Shopify instead.
